Decorative Terrariums

I just finished my terrarium project. I been storing away random glass pieces for these lovelies. My inspiration to pull them all out... North Carolina moss. I got a package in the mail today from Bobby. I opened it up in the parking lot of the post office, and what do I find inside... among other goodies, a Tupperware full of this stunning bright green moss with a note attached. "Sorry honey, all the fireflies died before I could mail them :)". Boy, does he know how to get a full on ear-to-ear smile from me! I love it.

St. Augustine Florida

I really enjoyed our visit, but was disapointed that the cemetery was locked with no access. Otherwise it was such a pretty day out. Tolomato was the best there.

Patio Gardening in Florida

Patio gardening in Florida is a bit less fun when it's 99 degrees out. This weekend it was 92 but with humidity the "feel like temp" is 99! You do have to love this time of year for the random rain and how pretty your plants can look.

A girls addiction to seeking the next fabulous vintage fix...Where do you draw the line? And ultimately, why can't I go to the dirty thrift store at noon and find something? Ebay maybe? I grew up in a small Florida town where I could stop in at any of my fav local junk piles any day of the week and time ,I always came out like I just won the powerball!
